Internationally celebrated for a portraiture practice spanning collage, painting, assemblage, photography, installation and film, Mickalene Thomas enshrines Black womanhood within art history. "The women I work with are powerhouses: their prowess is undeniable.”

Launched in collaboration with Artspace and Phaidon, Left Behind is a hand-collaged print edition accompanied by a signed and numbered copy of Phaidon’s 2021 monograph Mickalene Thomas – together housed in a handmade, painted wooden box and presented in a red velour dust bag emblazoned with Thomas’ studio logo.
