Photographer Lara Zankoul is a Lebanese conceptual photographer that first entered the photography scene in 2008. Graduating from the American University of Beirut with a Masters in Economics, Zankoul turned to photography as a way to escape the everyday life of a cubicle in which she worked her first full-time job.
She has been present at several local and international exhibitions such as the 2011 Women’s Art Exhibition (Lebanon) and the 2013 edition of the Festival Photomed (South of France). She has also won an award in the 2011 Shabab Ayyam Photography Competition.

Produced as 10 colors screen print on a 410gsm somerset radiant white paper with glazes and glitter and large diamond dust on the face and clouds. Paper size 97 x 71 cm and image size 92 x 67.4 cm with the edges cut. Important note: The diamond dust on the print can fall off a little bit this is not a mistake but a part of the print.

Varying in size from its static form measuring 50x72cm, up to maximum of 95x50cm when displayed “in movement”. This unprecedented limited edition applies his unmistakable digitally-based aesthetics on custom built structure made of mdf panel base and an aluminum sheet with up to 11 pixelated stripes. Using magnets as the mounting method, the parts of the piece are easily movable both vertically and horizontally, enabling different sequences of the stripes which form assorted vibrant compositions.
