Most works on Avant Arte are available immediately on release day. There are a few exceptions – you can find out more about these below.
Releases
For draw launches we select buyers for the public allocation of that release at random.
Everyone who enters the draw has an equal chance of winning, although we may remove entries if we believe that they are in breach of our terms and conditions. For some draws, there will be an extra verification step following the on-site entry, which entrants will be asked to complete by email.
You can enter a draw any time before the closing date listed on the edition page. We only allow one draw entry per person. To enter you will need to provide a unique email address, shipping address and bank card. You will also need to accept a resale agreement when applicable.
If paying with bank card, you will need to agree to Avant Arte charging your payment card on the draw closing date, if you win, for the amount stated during draw entry and in the confirmation email you received.
If paying with crypto, you will be sent a payment link which needs to be completed within the stated time.
If you win and we are unable to charge your card or if we haven't recieved payment within the stated time, we will re-run the draw and select a new winner.
You can cancel your entry at any time before the draw closes by emailing collecting@avantarte.com.
A timed release will be available exclusively on Avant Arte for a set period of time. The edition size will depend on how many people place an order during this period. Once the release finishes, the edition size will be confirmed and the edition will no longer be available to order.
Please note that works are made to order following the release, so will not be shipped immediately after purchase.
To buy a piece that is released by enquiry you will need to get in touch with us first. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible, at most within a few days.
For limited editions, we assign artworks in chronological order. This means that the sooner you buy, the lower your edition number will be.
With time-limited editions, the answer depends on whether or not framing is available. For sculptures and some 2D artworks (those with no framing option, or those that are framed as standard) we take the same approach as we do with a limited edition, allocating the lowest editions numbers to those who order earliest.
When framing on a time-limited edition is optional, things become a bit more complicated. Before dispatch, editions are split into two groups, and the first set of artworks is sent to the framers. This means that framed prints will generally have lower edition numbers than unframed prints. Within each group, artworks are still assigned in chronological order
When we produce a limited edition, we set aside a number for collectors to apply for pre-order ahead of the release day. You can read more on why we do this in our Allocation FAQs.
Often, demand for pre-orders exceeds the amount we have available, and so we invite collectors who’d like to pre-order to submit an application. As part of this application, we'll verify shipping and payment details, but your card will not be charged.
After submitting your application for a pre-order, we’ll notify you within seven days whether we’re able to allocate your a pre-order. If we are, we’ll charge your card and process your order.
You can cancel your application at any time by emailing collecting@avantarte.com.
