Alfie Caine

Alfie Caine (he/him) was born in 1996 in London, England, and now lives and works in Rye, East Sussex. His acrylic scenes are ordinary and surreal at the same time. On the one hand he draws from day-to-day life – candles and fireplaces lit, chairs askew and windows open. On the other hand, he sees his work as a way to escape reality.

b.wing (she/her) was born in 1972 in Hong Kong, China, where she continues to live and work. b.wing shares intimacy and stories through her emblematic character, A-Boy. Difficulties she experienced as a child inform her creative work. By drawing and painting, she reviews her past and finds a way to transcend it.

Bell Nakai

Bell Nakai (she/her) was born in Thailand, and currently lives and works in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. Nakai's work is overlaid with digital elements – hashtags, pixels, emojis, phones and memes. The downturned mouths of her characters hint at the negative impact of social media on mental health.

Lin Yen-Liang

Lin Yen-Liang (he/him) is a Tawianiese artist born in 1987. Today, he lives and works in Taiwan. His expressive and charming characters always tell a story, originating from his process of sketching out comic strip or film plot storyboards.

Sun-Kyo Park

Sun-Kyo Park (he/him) was born in 1990 in Jeonju, South Korea. He now lives and works in Seoul. In recent work, he delves more into the idea of the 'nobody'. Faces are cropped, painted close-up and from the side. Park uses these non-specific characters to avoid depicting any singular emotion or social class. Subverting traditions of portraiture, status and class are disregarded, and imagination takes prescience.
