Bio
Zach Lieberman is a New York City–based artist and educator whose work explores the use of computation as a medium for poetry. He creates artwork with code, developing experimental drawing and animation tools, and builds interactive environments that invite participants to become performers.
Lieberman is best known as a co-founder of openFrameworks, an open-source C++ toolkit widely used in creative coding for interactive installations, experimental interfaces, and generative art. In 2013, he co-founded the School for Poetic Computation (SFPC), an alternative school that has played a significant role in fostering a community-centred approach to technology and art education.
