Fabula’s elongated limbs are typical of the artist’s tendency towards exaggerated body shapes. A former physiotherapist, his anatomical knowledge fuels these alluring abstractions – a notable characteristic of both his paintings and sculptures.
“They are born from a fantastic, surreal and expressionist figuration. I consider them hybrid characters closely related to my admiration for Dubuffet, Bonifacio, and Alfonso Fraile.”
