About 'Vivos'

In September 2014, a convoy of buses carrying students from Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers' College was attacked in southwestern Mexico. 43 students were never seen again.

Directed and produced by Ai Weiwei, the documentary film ‘Vivos’ tells the important story of the victims and their families – giving a voice to the unresolved grief that has shaken country and community. These stories are told against the meditative backdrop of environmental and social scenes where strength can still be found.
