Jen Stark brings her hypnotic optical illusions to this exclusive edition.

This monochromatic limited edition print captures the LA-based artist's signature "drip style" through intricate patterns inspired by natural geometry. Each concentric layer draws you deeper into a meditation, evoking natural forms like geodes, which are the circular patterns found in rocks and crystals. 

Jen created the composition exclusively for this edition. She began by meticulously hand-drawing the original design before digitally refining each element to create this striking desaturated composition.

I love using accumulation and repetition in my compositions. I enjoy emulating designs in nature by using visual mathematical equations of the universe.

Los Angeles-based artist Jen Stark creates unmissable optical illusions that leave your senses spinning. Part meditation, part acid trip, her in-your-face abstraction is designed for all audiences spanning the art world and popular culture. She’s done collaborations with the likes of Vans, Facebook and Google, and in 2015 her work even provided the backdrop to Miley Cyrus' performance at the MTV VMAs. Jen works across painting, installation, sculpture and animation, inspired by Op Artists like Bridget Riley and Marina Apollonio, as well as the Finish Fetish artists of 1960s Los Angeles. Altered states of consciousness and spirituality are key conceptual forces and sources of inspiration in Jen's artworks, stating: "For thousands of years our ancestors cultivated this amazing culture and psychedelic ceremonies and I think our culture (especially the west) has lost hold of these beautiful secrets and a deep connection to nature."
