This landmark collaboration with the Estate of Roy Lichtenstein sees Ohhh… Alright… editioned for the first time since the artist's death.
Ohhh… Alright… (1964) is one of Pop Art's most instantly recognisable images, belonging to the comic-book era that established Lichtenstein as one of the defining artists of the movement. The work depicts a woman on the phone with bright red hair, reflecting Lichtenstein's recurring exploration of idealised female figures in popular culture. Rendered in the artist's signature Ben-Day dots, bold outlines and vivid colour, it stands as a quintessential example of his pioneering visual language and 20th-century American art at large.
The expert printmakers at Make-Ready created this 6-layer limited edition silkscreen print in close collaboration with the Estate, carefully matching each colour against swatches Lichtenstein made during his lifetime precisely for this purpose. Each piece in the edition of 500 is created with the oversight of the Estate of Roy Lichtenstein and carries a bespoke stamp.
