Brodin's Frame Workshop gives all works of art a protective framing. Brodin's Frame Workshop was started in 1946. We work closely with artists, galleries, museums, collectors and businesses to provide all works of art with protective framing. With a gilding and painting workshop on site, we offer most finishes and surface treatments on frames. All framing is made according to individual measurements and wishes, and we only use the best materials.

We have a wide selection of quality frames from several suppliers in materials that are adapted to the Norwegian climate. Our frame standard is a modern and minimalist frame in Nordic style, which has been prepared in collaboration with artists and our frame makers. We use narrow frame moldings that are deep on the sides, for a clean expression that puts the art in focus. A frame that matches your home, in the right color and style, highlights the art and gives it the packaging it deserves.

Mester Rammer - and Artgate are run today by the Uhlmann family. Mester Rammer has roots going back to the post-war era when the company was then called Jomyr Kunst og Rammer. Thus began the vision to expand, where the goal was to have 10 stores with a central framework workshop, and the stores were to be located a short distance from the framework workshop at Carl Berners Plass. We frame for private individuals, businesses, museums, galleries and other public companies. With a frame workshop of over 1,000 m2, over 50,000 meters of frame strip in stock, and with our 8 stores, no job is too big - and we deliver quickly!

Born 1974. Visual artist from Chile. Lives and works in Stockholm. Well known in Scandinavia for its graphic prints.

In 1983, Stig Strømme, a trained physiotherapist in Berlin, was transformed into a frame maker when he opened the Frame Workshop in Oslo. Since then, he has put frames and glass on everything from art to football kits, accompanied by the sound of the 20 bus. The fingertip feeling came in Germany at the start of the 80s, while the frame craftsmanship has been perfected over three decades. Artists, private individuals, companies and galleries benefit from it to this day.
