A new work by Piet Parra delights in the intimacy of kinship.

PLAY STUPID GAMES was painted in 2025 with acrylic on canvas in the artist's signature graphic colour palette and design. The striking composition highlighted by a black outline depicts an intimate moment between two sisters, blocking out the chaos of the world around them by playing a board game.

In this limited edition print of the artwork, Piet’s distinctive visual language creates a small pocket of peace and connection filled with warm bonds of family.

The painting was an observation of two sisters playing a boardgame in a busy family setting. There was something beautiful about the focus and intimacy that the two sisters had on this 'stupid' game.
