For nearly three decades, the Cuban artist has painted meditative landscapes in hyperrealistic detail. Here, his delicate brushstrokes render a canopy of foliage, while soft amber light creates a mesmerising atmosphere, drawing the viewer in. Towering treetops form arches "reminiscent of temples", beneath which two figures sit in quiet reflection – mirroring Tomás's own daily practice.
