An iconic Problem Painting by Urs Fischer becomes a new limited edition print.
Originally presented at Gagosian Beverly Hills in 2012, Problem Paintings is a series of collaged paintings that layer silkscreened fruit and everyday objects over portraits of Hollywood starlets. The obstructions are deliberate and disarming. "The funny thing is fruits are more universal than movie stars," Fischer has said. For the artist, the organic and the disposable will always outlast fame and celebrity.
This limited edition print features a matte varnish seal and 6 silkscreen layers, in an edition of 100.
