ERC-721

ERC-721

ERC-721 is one of two standards within the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem.

ERC-721 is used for creating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Ethereum blockchain. NFTs are unique digital assets that represent ownership of a specific item, piece of art, or other digital content. Each ERC-721 token has a distinct value and cannot be exchanged on a one-to-one basis with other tokens, making it ideal for representing ownership of rare or one-of-a-kind digital items.
